here is my question in story form.
second semister of school has started and last semister I missed a lot of school why you may ask.
I was enjoying school until some friends of mine started to make comments that wernt nessiraly good. i ignored it at first but it got worse since i am (and hating it) going throuh pubirty here is a few questions I have my hope is that you as bloggers will give me some advice?
1: Why do we have mood swings?
2:why are girls so mean at this age
3:why do girls have periods?
4:how come it seems everyone is getting them before me?
so help me out please!

I don't know why they are mean. They just are. Doesn't mean it is okay or that it makes it any easier. I am just glad you are not a mean girl.
As for the other stuff, well we talked about it. ;) I am here if you need to know more.
Girls often seem to be mean because now is a time where you are all going through so much change and no one really knows what is going on.. so they are scared and want to do whatever they can to feel popular and like they fit in, even if it includes being mean.
The more someone truly loves themselves and is comfortable with who they are, the kinder they will be, as they realize they don't have to or want to make others feel little and sad. So they are just unsure, confident girls who try to hide it through cruelty.
As for the rest of the questions, yes talk with your mom... but trust me, not having your period yet isn't necessarily a bad thing.. it really isn't all it is cracked up to be.
As long as you can stay nice and sweet, even with mean things around you, you will come out of all this the winner.
Hang tough sweetie. Remember many love you and wish they were just like you.
Always know your mom is there for you.
